You can use INTERACT either with

A) multimedia

Using INTERACT with multimedia files is a very professional solution. It offers easy control possibilities and frame-to-frame accurate analysis.

It allows behavioral observation at any place where the movie on CD-ROM or DVD can be played, without the need of additional hardware (VCRs, video monitor, control equipment etc.). This makes you independent of a stationary video observation lab. You can do the analysis in your lab, or even at home at your private PC or while traveling, using a notebook computer!

B) conventional video tapes

For those users not willing or able to use multimedia, INTERACT is able to control a wide range of analogue and digital VCRs. This allows you to migrate smoothly if using multimedia is planned for future projects.

C) Live observation

Use INTERACT during live observation. E.g. in places where video recording is prohibited or not possible. You may also easily integrate and synchronize live recordings with results of video analysis. This allows you to use both methods at the same time: During the recording of a video you can already take some notes and do some codings. Use those results as basis for the detailed video analysis later on. This can speed up the process incredibly and helps you to save a lot of time and money.
