Happy New Year of the Sheep-Goat!

On February 19, 2015, the most important Chinese holiday is celebrated – the Chinese New Year. This initiates the new year according to the Chinese calendar, which is the oldest calendar we know.

There is some disagreement whether 2015 is the year of the sheep or the goat, because the Chinese character “羊” can mean both. However, one thing is certain: the sheep-goat is the eighth of twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac and represents peace and tranquility. These years usually proceed harmoniously and without major ups and downs. They are more distinguished by slow growth.

Larger changes, whether in politics or in private life, are not to be expected. People born in that zodiac sign are often characterized by kindness, gentleness, and a strong sense of justice.

So, the team of Mangold International wishes all customers and partners, particularly in Asia, a harmonious but successful new year of the sheep-goat for 2015 – after the restless horse (2014) and before the lively ape (2016)!
